Dear Old Man Winter:

Hi!  Come on in.  I want to let you know upfront that I don't much care for you.  But I know you were put here for a reason.  And it makes the skiers happy.  So I should be happy for them.  And I suppose I am.  But I don't much care for having to leave my warm house in the morning to sit in a cold car.  And I don't much care for the ice and snow you like to have around.

But I would be remiss though if I didn't mention that your presence holds a silver lining.  The days are going to start to get longer and Spring will be here shortly.  And that makes ME happy.

So I hope you enjoy your stay.  But don't get comfortable.
