C'mon Church!
So there's this thing going around called the Swine Flu. There have been 141 cases of this flu here in the states. Where our population is over 300,000,000. That's like a .0000047% infection rate. And people are freaking out. I can understand folks freaking out if they don't have their faith in the right place. But when the Church starts freaking out, I get a little bummed.
I was stunned to hear that the Catholic Church in Mexico had temporarily closed up shop. No mass. No mas. Check out this link about some of the steps that various churches are taking here in the states.

And, with 141 cases of swine flu, there has been one documented death. That's a 0.7% death rate IF you contract the flu. . . . I've been trying to decide why everyone is freaking out too.
