Gems that didn't make it into the Bible

Did a little reading tonight. Since reading that Dan Brown book, I've gotten curious regarding the gnostic gospels and the Apocrypha. I thought I would share some of the things I learned this evening.

Things I just learned which aren't in the Bible:

1. Eve took the blame for eating from the Tree of Life.
2. Adam and Eve only discovered the need to drink water after they had been kicked out of the garden.
3. Adam tried to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff. When Eve saw him jump, she jumped as well. But God was merciful, and despite their injuries, allowed them to live.
4. Abraham circumcised himself.
