Taste of Central PA
Today, some friends and I went to the Taste of Central Pennsylvania. The "Taste" is an annual fundraiser for the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. If you've never been, here's the set-up: The food bank gets a bunch of food vendors (45 this year) to offer samples of their cuisine/products to attendees. Regular joes can pay $25 to spend two hours or so grazing on all the food. High rollers can pony up some extra change to get in early and some champagne to drink.
This was my first time going and there was a lot of good food there. There was some pork tenderloin stuffed with apples and figs, chocolate chip cheesecake, chicken masala, chili, taquitos, etc....... Good stuff. Here's a pic of the action from the upstairs.
