Two Things

I wanted to share something with y'all that I heard in a message last week:  Live Above Your Circumstances.  So many times we get caught up in our lives and the daily flow that we can feel helpless.  And helpless isn't necessarily the best word, but we just try to live in the moment.  If we have a boss who makes the work day difficult, we put up with him, nothing less, nothing more.  But we don't have to live in our circumstances.  We have to choose to live above them.  With that same boss, instead of just putting up with him, raise the stakes.  Go out of your way to show him extreme kindness.  Be the best employee you can be.  Show love.

Remember, we are not tied down to our circumstances.  We may have to live through them, but we can either choose to live in or above our circumstances.
